A TEAM of fundraising runners has raised £3,225 for Shalom House in St Davids.

Declan Lynch, together with his dad, Phil Lynch, pulled together 30 friends and family to take on the challenge of the Tenby 10k in August and raise money for Shalom House in memory of mums, wives and other dear friends and family members who had cancer.

"Their fundraising was unrelenting over the weeks leading up to the run," said Shalom's Sarah Burns. "They were ably supported by the Red Roses Pub with encouragement and liquid refreshment."

A total of £3,225 has been raised. Shalom's Isobel Bowen and Sarah Burns went to meet some of the group at the Red Roses Pub to receive this fantastic sum of money raised and say thank you.

"This kind of support for Shalom is awesome," said Sarah. "Thank you all."
