MORE than 750 Pembrokeshire residents benefitted from the Welsh Government Warm Homes Nest scheme last year, through free advice on how to heat their homes effectively and reduce their energy bills.
In 2017/18, the scheme received a 17 per cent increase in the number of households contacting the Nest helpline, with over 15,600 callers receiving free energy saving advice.
In addition, more than 250 low income households in Pembrokeshire received energy efficiency home improvements funded by the Welsh Government, with an average energy bill saving of £408 per year.
One recent Nest scheme user said: “The Nest team were helpful, informative and polite, and worked efficiently and cleanly. I’m delighted with the result, and would willingly recommend this service. If I was unaware of Nest and the help it provides, others will be too.”
