COLBY Parkrun has shown its gratitude to the Wales Air Ambulance for responding to an incident where a parkrunner collapsed.
A £500 cheque has been presented to the emergency service from a raffle held after the 5km weekly timed run.
The parkrunner who was taken ill survived with the help of the defibrillator, marshals, fellow runners and the Wales Air Ambulance.
Colby Parkrun is held every Saturday at 9am at the National Trust Colby Woodlands, near Amroth.
Runners of all abilities are welcome. For more information, see Colby Parkrun online.
