A PEMBROKESHIRE mum, whose daughter was murdered two years ago in Haverfordwest, is raising awareness of domestic violence by asking the public to join in a walk through the town on Thursday.

Natasha Bradbury lay dying for hours in 2016 before her on-off boyfriend Luke George Jones dialled 999 and asked for an ambulance.

Jones, of Haven Drive, Milford Haven, murdered Miss Bradbury in her High Street home in the early hours of February 22.

Jones had inflicted horrendous injuries on the 27-year-old, who sustained fatal liver, heart and brain damage.

In September 2016, a jury returned a unanimous guilty verdict, and Jones was sentenced to a minimum of 17 years in prison.

Mum Tracey Bradbury, along with other family members, have previously shared their heartbreaking story on the Jeremy Kyle Show.

Now, as part of domestic violence awareness month, Tracey is hoping others will join the family in turning Haverfordwest’s High Street in to a sea of purple this Thursday, October 18.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month is associated with the colour purple.

Tracey is hoping others will join the family in the purple-themed candle-lit walk, leaving County Hall at 10.30am before walking up High Street, where the walk will end.

Poignantly, at this, near the site of Natasha’s death, balloons will be released to the sky.

Tracey said: “I lost my daughter Natasha in 2016 through domestic violence; when we lost her, we were absolutely devastated.

“Trying to get help over here is shocking, there was no support or help for us, or her son.

“We had to get support from England, and that was a monthly thing, and my grandson had help from England as well. So, I want to make awareness for domestic violence this as it’s not spoken about, and I think we should have our own support.

“This is not just awareness for women, men as well. You need to speak out about anything, break the silence, stop the violence.”

The dress code is anything purple.

“We’d love for everyone to come together and raise the awareness,” added Tracey.
