A drunk Pennar man kicked dog mess about, a court has heard.

Ry Robert Williams, of Old School Court, appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on Tuesday, October 16.

He pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

Abul Hussain, prosecuting, told the court that Williams, 26, began shouting while in the court yard area of his partner’s block of flats on August 2.

A neighbour looked out to see him throwing rubbish and kicking dog mess.

Mr Hussain said: “She went down to tell him to be quiet, he continued to bang the front door by kicking it and was abusive towards her.

“His speech was slurred and he was shouting and kicking, she called the police.”

Jonathan Webb, defending, said Williams had too much to drink on the day in question, and decided he’d had enough of his girlfriend’s neighbour’s dog defecating on the communal lawn area.

“There are better ways of going about speaking to the neighbour about this than getting drunk and kicking it about.

“In interview he apologised to the lady for any distress that he may have caused her.”

Magistrates fined Williams £60 and ordered him to pay £85 court costs plus a £30 surcharge.

The chairman of the bench said: “It was a very expensive drink, take note.”
