POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault in Pembroke, which has left a 51-year-old man in a critical condition in hospital.
The assault is believed to have happened between 1am and 1.20am on October 31; the man left with serious head injuries.
It is thought the victim left the town's Watermans Arms pub, Northgate Street, at around 1am, and walked to Olivers View via Golden Hill Road and Laugharne Close.
He was found unconscious at Olivers View at approximately 1.20am.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released on police bail with conditions.
