BE aware of flooding and disruption today the Met Office has said, as Pembrokeshire faces heavy rain today (Wednesday, December 5).

As the county is drenched with the latest winter downpour, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain.

Anyone travelling in the wet weather should be aware of the following:

  • Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
  • Bus and train services affected by delays
  • Flooding of a few homes and businesses

Pembrokeshire County Council has already received reports of flooding across the county this morning.

The following places have experienced floods:

  • Vineyard Vale, Wooden, Saundersfoot
  • B4319 Heatherton Gumfreston drains being lifted by force of water in drains
  • Begelly
  • The B4314 near Crematorium, Narberth
  • Westfield West Lane, Warren Pembroke
  • Southdown Close Pembroke
  • Llangwm, Troopers Inn
  • Heath Close, Johnston
  • Slade Lane, Haverfordwest
  • Vawers Close Haverfordwest
  • Prendergast, Haverfordwest
  • Rudbaxton
  • St Leonards Avenue, Crundale
  • Clarbeston Road
  • Ambleston

Further heavy rain and winds are expected on Saturday.
