FLOODING and weather warnings are in place for this morning for Pembrokeshire and across south Wales.

The Met Office has warned flooding may be likely for a few homes and businesses this morning (Friday, December 7), and spray and flooding on roads will make journeys difficult.

There is also likely to be some disruption to bus and train services.

Natural Resources Wales has flooding alerts in place for the lower Teifi river, the north and west Pembrokeshire coast, the south Pembrokeshire coast and the River Cleddau.

These alerts say flooding is likely because of the excess amount of rain.

The latest heavy rain and wind has been dubbed Storm Etienne by some, but is in fact the remnants of a storm which travelled across the Atlantic.

Storm Etienne was named by Portuguese weather forecasters as it first hit land in the Azores.
