PEMBROKESHIRE is in for yet more poor weather as a yellow warning has been issued for tomorrow (Tuesday, December 18).

The Met office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind and rain to hit Pembrokeshire from 5am.

The warning is in place until 9pm.

The Met office said: "Another spell of wet and windy weather is expected on Tuesday when rain will be heavy at times and, given recent wet weather, likely lead to impacts in a few places.

"Over most of Wales, Devon and Cornwall the worst of the weather will have cleared by mid-afternoon whilst further east the worst conditions are likely to be during the afternoon and early evening.

"This wet weather, meanwhile, will be accompanied by windy conditions with gusts in exposed coastal locations around 50-65 mph which means that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities may be affected by spray and/or large waves.

"Inland, gusts will be lower and mainly peak at 40-50 mph."

Travel is likely to be disrupted, with spray and flooding on roads making journey times take longer.

The Met office has warned that homes and businesses could be flooded.
