POLICE are appealing for information after part of a horse’s hoof was severed by a sharp object near Mathry.

It’s thought to have happened between midnight on December 23 and noon on December 24.

Posting on Twitter, Dyfed-Powys Police’s rural crime team wrote: “The rural crime team is dealing with a report of unexplained injury to a horse near Mathry in north Pembrokeshire. It appears a sharp object has severed the rear of the foot and nothing obvious in the field caused it.”
