THE mother of a boy involved in a fight at Milford Haven School yesterday has called for greater awareness of bullying to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Police were called the the school yesterday afternoon (Friday, January 11) after a fight broke out.

A video of the incident has been shared on social media, showing several boys fighting.

The mum of one of the boys involved said: "The video was horrific to watch.

"Would love to find a way to make sure this doesn't happen again to my child or any child for that matter.

"He is still getting harassed even after the incident by the boys and older brothers of this group/gang who are 18 and over.

"If they had been just a year or two older they would be facing attempted murder charges.

"It's disgusting that this can happen, especially on school grounds and that's after the school being aware of the issues with these boys and assuring me that they were being dealt with.

"I've had a dad of one of the boys call this attack nothing, if my boy had died would that also be nothing?

"My boy is a tough cookie and he refuses to back down or hide from this group of bullies.

"I have had numerous messages from other parents stating the problems they've had with this group, including a year 7 girl who was singled out and made to cry.

"Another incident is when a teacher has ended up having a panic attack over this groups behaviour - I want these boys excluded and with a record so if they try anything in the future they will have harder punishments.

"This isn't just a scrap and a case of boys will be boys, this could have turned out so differently and if not stopped it could be anyone else's child next."

Dyfed-Powys Police has been contacted for comment.
