A FESTIVE fund-raising display of Christmas lights has resulted in a dazzling donation to charity.
The public's generous response to Sheila and Vic Norman's fantastic illuminations at their bungalow in Kilgetty has enabled them to present their best-ever total of £1,956.09 to Paul Sartori Hospice at Home.
"People have been absolutely brilliant, with lots of lovely compliments," said Sheila. "We raised nearly £300 more than last year, and if it hadn't been for the bad weather before Christmas, we would have hit the £2,000 mark.
"We're very grateful to everyone who donated, and also to our neighbours in Kingsmoor Close who put up Christmas lights as well."
The Normans' seasonal spectacular included a winter wildlife scene, topped with a magnificent moose and complemented with festive music.
The display also featured its popular attractions of the Nativity scene, the photo-booth and the illuminated conservatory.
The couple have raised many thousands of pounds for Paul Sartori in 11 years of Christmas lighting displays at their home.
Said the charity's clinical co-ordinator, Pat Coombs: "We are extremely grateful for everything Vic and Sheila Norman have done over the years to raise money and awareness for Paul Sartori.
"It is through the generosity of local residents and businesses that we can continue to provide this much-needed service for anyone in the later stages of any life-limiting illness."
