CRAFTY Saundersfoot knitters have 'purled' a large amount of woolly works of art out of the bag in aid of two charities.
Over the winter months the Little and Large Lite Bites Cafe Yarn Bombing Team has been busy knitting and crocheting various items.
The team has completed 85 hats, 39 scarves, one pair of gloves, five pairs of socks, 12 baby jumper/ hat combos to send off to the Knit for Peace charity, based in London.
These will be distributed to the homeless and people in war-torn areas.
The yarn bombers have also knitted 20 delightful teddies to send to the Teddies for Tragedies charity.
These will go to children undergoing operations in hospitals in Africa, so that they have a friend to cuddle after their treatment.
The yarn bombing team meets every Thursday morning at about 10 am in the Little and Large Lite Bites Cafe in Saundersfoot and welcomes any new members.
