PEMBROKESHIRE saw the third lorry stuck under a railway bridge in less than 24 hours today, February 13.
Following on from Tuesday night’s two-plus hour hold-up when a lorry and its excavator cargo became stuck under the railway bridge at Merlins Bridge, Haverfordwest, and that morning's lorry stuck at Pembroke, Wednesday afternoon was the turn of the Tenby-Saundersfoot area.
Reports of yesterday’s Merlins Bridge incident, and the lorry’s recovery, may be seen here and here.
The report of the earlier Pembroke incident may be seen here.
Traffic was delayed while a lorry became stuck under the railway bridge on the A478 road, linking Kilgetty and Pentlepoir with Tenby, from Hopshill Lane to Clayford Road.
The lorry remained stuck until 3.45pm, when it was removed.
