A driver is accused of leaving a man with life-changing injuries by reversing without due care and attention.
Paul Jeffrey Davies, care of Withybush Car Sales, Withybush Road, Haverfordwest, faces a charge of driving a Land Rover Discovery without due care and attention on the B4341 at Broadhaven on June 24.
It is alleged that Davies, 72, collided with the open rear door of a parked car as he began to reverse.
It is claimed that a man was placing an item in the boot of a parked car at the time and was crushed as the reversing vehicle hit the door.
Life-changing injuries were alleged to have been sustained by the complainant including the loss of sight in his right eye, a head injury and fractured nose.
Davies did not attend his hearing at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Wednesday, March 6, but had previously entered a not guilty plea at an earlier hearing.
A trial date was listed for May 2.
