KILGETTY'S RA0B Club in recently saw an immensely successful charity bingo event, raising nearly £1,700 for four charities.

In excess of 100 people attended and enjoyed an evening of Bingo with the most fantastic prizes, together with an amazing raffle with a star prize of a Playstation virtual reality headset and camera, donated by Tesco Pembroke Dock.

There was in impromptu heads and tails competition during the interval won by Jayne Pike, who was rewarded with a Giltar Hotel gift voucher for a one-night stay in a luxury sea-view room.

A massive thank you also goes to Toni of Paul Sartori, who stood in to call the bingo numbers and Jill Stevens for raising additional funds from the sale of her lovely cupcakes.

Caroline Bridle, who organised the event, was able to make donations in thanks for their support and the important and invaluable work they do within the community to West Wales Cat Rescue and Paul Sartori, with further cheques going to Bone Cancer Research Trust and FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) Hope.

A total of £1,690 was raised, of which £600 went to the cat rescue; £400 to Paul Sartori, £300 to FND, and £100 to the Daniel Bridle Memorial Trust (in aid of Bone Cancer Research).

The remainder will go to help support a young terminally-ill boy in West Wales.
