A Haverfordwest man has been cleared of assaulting his partner.
Martin Andrew Blundell, of Coronation Avenue, stood trial at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Wednesday, March 6.
He pleaded not guilty to assault, but admitted failing to surrender to the court on February 13 after being released on bail and pleaded guilty to damaging a mobile phone.
It had been alleged that Blundell assaulted his then-partner of more than 20 years while drunk on January 20.
Magistrates dismissed the assault charges against Blundell, 50, following the trial.
Blundell, represented by Mike Kelleher, was ordered to pay a total of £310 in a fine, costs and surcharge for the bail offence, and a six month restraining order was imposed prohibiting him from contacting his ex-partner.
There was no separate penalty for the damaged phone.
