OVER £1,000 in just a week has been raised for the Mozambique disaster by the Tenby branch of Save the Children.
An extremely successful fashion show, courtesy of M & Co, was held at their shop in Tenby, which raised £800.
Wisemans Bridge Inn held their usual quiz and donated the £145 proceeds, while bucket collections in Tesco and HSBC raised over £100.
Said branch chairman, Caroline Williams: “We are extremely grateful to all those concerned who have helped us exceed our expectations by raising such a fantastic amount.”
Anyone who would like to contribute to this disaster fund and has not yet done so, can make donations to the DEC fund at any bank.
