THIS photograph of Hakin United AFC was sent in by Peter 'Pongo' Walters of Johnston.
It is the Hakin team of 1968/69 and it is the first time in their history that they won the First Division League and Senior Cup in the same season.
Fifty years ago this month, they beat Carew 1-0 in the final at the old Bridge Meadow in April 1969, and Grenville Myhill scored the goal.
They are all over 70 years of age now and Grenville Myhill is the only player who is deceased.
