A PEMBROKESHIRE beauty business owner is getting ready to jet off for a celebrity Bahamas date.

The amazing results achieved by a facial treatment created by Leah Uka of Tenby have led her to be snapped up to work similar magic on a group of A-listers.

Mum-of-two Leah, age 30, who set up LBU Beauty in the town’s Lower Park Road a year ago, is a dedicated facialist who has developed, patented and trademarked her Hollywood Sculpt Facial.

“I started putting pictures of the results on Facebook and Instagram, and I was contacted by a well-known celebrity, living near the Bahamas, who has asked me to go out to give her, and a group of her friends, the treatment before they go to a major event," she said.

“I really thought it was somebody having a joke at first, but it’s absolutely true. I was just gobsmacked.”

Leah’s trademark facial is due to be launched in Tenby in June, but in the meantime has been experienced by a handful of her loyal customers.

“The results are absolutely insane,” said Leah. “It’s a lifting and sculpting facial, really good for skin rejuvenation and anti-ageing.

“There are no invasive procedures involved, yet the effect is similar to that achieved by Botox, fillers or even by going under the knife. All I use are my hands, tools and products, hand-picked from literally thousands that I’ve tried and tested over the years.”

Leah, who spent two years as an Army medic as a teenager before re-training in facial aesthetics, is now looking forward to next Sunday when she leaves for her Bahamas booking.

She’ll be arriving back home to husband Adam and children Jackson, aged three and one-year-old Isla, the following Friday.

“I’ve had another opportunity to go out to Monaco in August to work on a few well-known people, and I’m ultimately I’m looking at running clinics in New York and LA.”
