I AM glad that the Port Authority at Milford Haven is so pleased to have the new footbridge up and open the public.
Unfortunately, it is of no benefit to me!
Although I live in Hayston Ave and really missed the old bridge, I can't even get to Hakin Point Quay!
Until someone takes responsibility for the subsidence at the end of Pointfields, the bridge will not be of any benefit to me or for anyone living in this part of Hakin, only by a longer walk around.
Surely, not only are the homeowners on the Quay losing out, but, how much money is being lost with rates (poll tax) etc, and visitors to the area and B&Bs must be completely bemused by the length of time it is taking to get it resolved?
Surely there must be a liability with someone!
