A MAN arrested in Haverfordwest has appeared at the Old Bailey charged with owning information useful for preparing an act of terrorism.

Abdul Hussain, 41, appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates court on Friday, April 26, accused of having broken a bail condition by not living and sleeping each night at an address in Torquay, Devon.

Hussain, of no fixed abode had previously been bailed for three charges of possessing a “document containing information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism,” on August 17 last year at an unspecified address.

Following the hearing on April 26, Hussain appeared at the Central Criminal Court in London (The Old Bailey) via live video link on Monday, April 29.

He was committed into custody and is due to appear again at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, August 21.
