Forecasters say that the thunderstorms bring the potential for lightning strikes and hail, with sudden downpours and gusty winds
THUNDERSTORMS could be on the cards for Hampshire this week.
The news of the storms comes after the county has been hit by a week of torrential downpours .
Although Monday is set to be "sunny and dry" the Met Office have said on Tuesday "thundery showers will soon arrive, continuing overnight."
Wednesday is set to be "humid with warm sunshine" however "thundery showers" are again set to develop across Hampshire.
