A MAN who has admitted a string of offences in Cardigan has been remanded on unconditional bail prior to sentencing.

Steve David Whitfield, now of Corporation Street, Aberystwyth, has pleaded guilty to dishonestly using electricity to the value of £117.56 in Cardigan between July 1, 2017 and November 18, 2018.

The 45-year-old has also admitted possessing Class C drug clonazolam in Cardigan on November 12 last year and of stealing a bottle of vodka valued at £14.19 from Cardigan’s Aldi supermarket on November 15, 2018.

Whitfield also admitted a charge of criminal damage, smashing a ground floor window of a property at Williams Row, Cardigan, on February 19.

Whitfield is due back before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre on June 26.
