ARMED police were called to the Mount Estate last night (Wednesday, June 26), searching for a man believed to be in possession of a knife.
A 28-year-old man from the Milford Haven estate is currently in police custody arrested on suspicion of theft, common assault and possession of a knife in a public place.
A police spokesman said: "A theft from a store at the Havens Head Industrial Estate was reported to Dyfed-Powys Police earlier that day.
"Later the same day officers received information that the suspect had also assaulted a man in the marina area and was in possession of a knife.
"Officers, including armed officers, attended the home address of the suspect to make an arrest. He made threats to harm himself but eventually surrendered himself."
The man was arrested around 8pm on Wednesday, June 26, and remains in police custody.
