HOW THEY MET: In 2017 after talking to each other for a few days via a dating website.
PROPOSAL: On the steps of a secluded gazebo at Slaley Hall.
VENUE: North Lakes Hotel, Penrith.
THEME: Diamonds and pearls.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A white, heavily beaded dress with diamante on the bodice, from Simply Koko. worn with a full-length veil and tiara.
HAIR & BEAUTY: Hair was by Emma, a family friend, and make-up was done by Mhari, owner of J’adore Beauty.
GROOMSMEN: Darren Ogilvie, close friend, was best man and Christian Barnes, Darren Ridding, Duncan Grant, and Andy Hodgson were groomsmen.
BRIDESMAIDS: Sophie Irons, bride’s sister, was maid of honour; Gemma Graham, Kirstie Finnigan, Natalie Asbridge and Nicole Thomson, all close friends of the bride, were bridesmaids and wore coral dresses from House of Fraser. Jasmine Irons-Brown, bride’s daughter; Bronwyn Craig-Ridding, groom’s daughter, and Emily Dean were flower girls.
FLOWERS: Bouquets of gypsophila for the bridesmaids and flower girls with a tear drop bouquet of Miss Piggy roses, cream Avalanche roses, peonies, lisianthus and freesias for the bride. All by Elaine Forrester.
TRANSPORT: Guests travelled to the reception in coaches supplied by Cumbria Coaches.
RECEPTION: An afternoon reception for 103 was held at the North Lakes Hotel, Penrith with an additional 20 guests attending the evening reception.
TABLE SETINGS: Manzanita trees as centrepieces.
FAVOURS: Home-made glass flasks filled with different drinks, and sweetie cones for the children.
CAKE: A four-tier wedding box style cake from the Cutie Pie Cake Company.
FIRST DANCE: Amazed by Lone Star.
ENTERTAINMENT: Amp and Dex.
HONEYMOON: Montego Bay, Jamaica.

FAMILY DETAILS: The bride is the daughter of Keith and Lesley Irons. The groom is the son of Sandra Ridding and the late Brian Ridding. The groom’s mother’s partner is Duncan Grant.
