LEADING HOUSEBUILDER Miller Homes is celebrating after a site manager received a quality award in this year’s NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.
Carl Harrison, Darwen resident and site manager of Catterall development Beacon Park, received the award for his work with Catterall.
Now in their 39th year, the awards are among the most prestigious in the housebuilding industry and celebrate the exceptional contribution site managers make in providing new homes of outstanding quality.
Every homebuilder registered under the NHBC Buildmark is entered into the competition.
Fred Swinburne, Regional Production Director for Miller Homes in the North West commented: “Being recognised with a Pride in the Job Quality Award is a tremendous accolade for any site manager and is richly deserved by Carl, who has demonstrated a consistent and committed approach to on-site standards of quality and safety in the building of our new homes in Catterall.
The next round of the competition will be held in the autumn, where Carl will have the opportunity to win a Seal of Excellence as well as competing for the Regional title in the North West for his work in Catterall.
The regional winners will then go on to compete for the national Supreme Award in their categories at the Pride in the Job Gala Dinner, taking place in London on January 24 2020.
