A CEREDIGION woman was more than three times over the drink-drive limit when caught by police.
Carol Bauer, of Oak Street, Pontrhydfendigaid, was stopped while driving a Daihatsu on the B4343 on June 28. She had 112 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
The 65-year-old pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol when she appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre, where magistrates imposed a 25-month driving ban.
Bauer, who had originally denied the charge, was also fined £675 and ordered to pay £200 prosecution costs and a £67 victim surcharge.
