POLICE in Llanybydder are carrying out house-to-house enquiries today (Wednesday, October 23), in response to a report a girl was approached and spoken to by a stranger, on a well-used local path.
There is no suggestion the man had criminal intent and the girl was not touched or harmed.
The report is not being linked to any other incidents.
The Schools Liaison Officer is in contact with the local primary school to discuss the report.
