A PENCADER man has been banned from the roads for 16 months after admitting drink-driving.
Joseph Cano Williams, of Carmarthen Road, Pencader, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol when he appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
The 20-year-old was caught while driving a VW Beetle at Coracle Way, Carmarthen, on October 20. He had 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
As well as the 16-month driving ban, Williams was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
