A BOLLARD at the top of St Mary Street in Cardigan has been removed to make it easier for lorries to gain access.
“Bin lorries had to reverse up from the bottom of the street as it was too difficult for them to turn down there,” said Cllr Catrin Miles at a meeting of the town council.
“But we will have to keep an eye on the situation as we don’t want lorries taking to the pavement and destroying the dropped kerbs.
“The bollard was put there in the first place as lorries were causing damage and if there are problems again, it can be restored.”
