A BOAT with four people shark fishing was rescued by Angle lifeboat on Thursday afternoon, June 25, 30 miles off St Ann’s Head.
The 30ft leisure fishing boat had suffered engine failure, west south west of St Ann’s Head.
The lifeboat launched at 12.20pm, and arrived on scene at 1.45pm.
Once confirmed that all was ok on board, and being briefed on how to secure the tow themselves, the vessel was towed to their berth at Neyland, arriving at 6.35pm.
The lifeboat returned to station at 7.15pm.
