A NEW business is to be handed a timely boost with the offer of free premises in Cardigan.

Town major Cllr Clive Davies told the town council that he had held a meeting with the owner of a prime high street retail building who was prepared to rent out the property for free to a potential new business.

“The owner of the shop next to Trizaro wants to give the shop rent free for a period of up to a year to a new business that wants to come to Cardigan,” said Cllr Davies.

“Two possibilities have come in and they will be put to the building's owner.

“It’s great that this person is thinking of the town. They are originally from Cardigan but do not live here any more but want to give a budding business and the town a boost.”
