A CHINOOK helicopter made an unexpected landing on farmland near St Clears.
The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that the twin-engined, heavy-lifting helicopter was forced to carry out the unplanned landing on Tuesday evening.
Residents in the Llangynin area reported hearing the craft close by and their electricity supply was interrupted.
It is thought that the helicopter hit a power line before making the landing.
