A ROAD running out of Roch is closed due to waterworks.
The C3067 running east out of Roch to the junction heading to Hayscastle is closed for three days due to resurfacing after a new water service connection was put in place.
The works commenced on Monday, June 12, and officials involved are confident the road will be reopened on Thursday, June 15.
A statement read: "The work has not yet been completed. While the new water connection itself has been carried out, we still need to reinstate the road and backfill it.
"The road closure is therefore still in place.
"As long as we don’t get any engineering difficulties our work should be fully complete by the end of Wednesday."
It had been advised that the work could take a full five days to complete.
Diversions have been set in pace along the A487 to Cuffern Road junction at Simpson Cross.
