CANADIAN restaurant brand Tim Hortons has today officially opened its doors in Chester.

The new restaurant and drive-thru is now welcoming customers with its famous coffee, freshly baked donuts and delicious meals from 6am till midnight, seven days a week.

The highly anticipated restaurant opened its doors at Chester Retail Park for the first time today and celebrated by gifting the first drive-thru and restaurant customer free coffee, every day for the whole year.

The brand is running a month of giveaways including free drinks and donuts.

Kevin Hydes, Chief Commercial Officer of Tim Hortons® franchise in the U.K commented on the opening: “We reached a huge milestone today, opening our 30th restaurant in the UK and we couldn’t have chosen a better location for it.

"Chester is a vibrant city, with an amazing community and know there have been many eager fans waiting to get their hands on our famed Canadian offering. Our wonderful team have been training hard behind the scenes to ensure every customer has the quality experience we’re so well known for and we cannot wait to welcome each and every guest through the door.”

The Toronto-based firm, which began opening stores in the UK in 2017, is also planning to open an outlet at Broughton Shopping Park. It will be the first in Wales with a drive-thru.
