A great atmosphere, great customers and great staff. The welcome is inclusive to all, whether you are a local or a visitor to the village. The pub is run by Matthew Evans, who goes out if his way to ensure the pub delivers OUTSTANDING FOOD and great drinks (amazing Guinness!) and all for a fair price. Matthew and his team have worked tireless to ensure that the pub has continued deliver excellence and within Covid guidelines during these challenging times. Despite the “Pembrokeshire weather”, they have been outside at all hours to ensure an “alfresco” alternative is there for its customers , new and old. What other pubs do home delivery meals to its regulars who cannot get there!? Wonderful.

What pub are you nominating and why? Please give full address and full details of why you think it is the bestMilton Brewery, Milton, Tenby SA70 8PH It's the most lovely pub with the most friendly and charming owners and staff who take the time to chat and get to know you. The decor is traditional but right on trend, the food is rustic, well presented and tasty, the drinks are a little out of the ordinary but at the same time, they're so good. The area is a picture to look at and there is a local park within view of the pub for the children to play safely. There's a bicycle repair shop attached where they used to replace hoofs instead of tyres. We just love it there and look forward to every visit. The perfectly poured Lighthouse Larger is my favourite and the Rev James is my husbands tipple of choice. We're looking forward to the autumn evenings and sitting by the log burner. The perfect local and the perfect holiday pub all in one. Save a seat for us please.

What pub are you nominating and why? Please give full address and full details of why you think it is the bestTHE IVY BUSH. HIGH STREET, NARBERTH SHEILA and STEVE PAGE are the Landlady and landlord of this cosy, friendly little pub in Narberth. There is always a warm welcome for both locals and tourists alike. It's like having an extended family. They look after the vulnerable people in the town, and I'm pretty sure they give more Sunday Dinners away than they sell. They feed people who've been isolating, who are poorly, elderly or down on their luck. They do Quiz nights, pool nights, Texas Poker nights, and live entertainment is slowly coming back. When that's in full swing they have 2 nights of live music and Karaoke every wk, and it's hope they will get back to that. But never mind live music, most nights end up with a juke box sing a long and even the odd bit of dancing. For the wary, may I just add that at the moment, the Landlord does limit numbers, and it's never over flowing. Being invited in, and becoming a friend of Steve and Sheila has changed my life. I DO NOT drink alcohol, but, as I sit there with my can of coke, I know that I am not only in a fun place, but a safe place. So I nominate the Ivy Bush, in Narberth. Gloria Jones

The food and drink selections are great, and John and Steve are really friendly hosts. Even over the recent lockdowns they have done some really good takeaway meals. Whilst it now attracts more non-locals, it's still very much a local pub at the heart of the community and everyone is made to feel welcome. I'm so glad they've made it into such a wonderful pub, as it would have been awful to lose the one pub in the village.

Offering a very rare waterside al fresco dining experience. Enjoy a sunset drink whilst the the sea laps at the pebbly shore and the sound of the boat masts clink in the gentle summer zephyr, as the sinking sun sends its last liquid gold rays across the sleepy seascape almost convincing you that you are sat somewhere in the Mediterranean. High quality locally sourced food on the menu and a friendly welcome on your arrival.
