A MAN has admitted disclosing a private, sexual photograph or film without the consent of the individuals who appeared in that photograph or film, with the intention of causing distress.

Joel Tanti, of Llanfallteg, changed his plea from not guilty to guilty in relation to one charge at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Monday, September 20.

A second charge, which he had previously denied, was dismissed.

The charges related to alleged offences which occurred at Llanfallteg between April 1 and June 10, 2020, and between April 1 and July 14, 2020.

Tanti pleaded guilty to the offence which took place between April 1 and June 10.

Tanti’s first pleas of not guilty were submitted on June 27 at the town’s magistrates. The cases were then set for trial on August 2 but adjourned to September 20 where Tanti, present at court, pleaded guilty to one charge and was sentenced.

A restraining order was put on 31-year-old Tanti which is active for one year.

He also has to pay compensation of £300, a surcharge of £25 and costs of £150.

Tanti will pay the outstanding debt at a rate of £100 a month.
