There have been 329 new coronavirus cases recorded in the Hywel Dda health board area according to today’s figures, (Thursday, September 30).

The latest Public Health Wales (PHW) data shows there were 199 new cases in Carmarthenshire, 71 in Pembrokeshire and 59 in Ceredigion since the last report.

The total number of cases across the three counties now stands at 30,539 – 18,749 in Carmarthenshire, 7,659 in Pembrokeshire and 4,131 in Ceredigion.

There have been no new Covid-related deaths recorded in the Hywel Dda area since the last report, with the total standing at 513 throughout the pandemic.

In total 2,580 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across Wales today bringing the national total to 355,542 cases.

There have been 31,370 tests done across the country since the last report.

There were 13 new Covid-related deaths reported bringing the total across Wales now standing at 5,892 deaths.

Across Wales, 2,376,313 have received a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine and 2,222,830 are fully vaccinated.

Hywel Dda is not currently providing vaccine data for the three counties.
