There have been 347 new coronavirus cases and five new Covid-related deaths recorded in the Hywel Dda health board area according to today’s figures, (Sunday October 3).
The latest Public Health Wales (PHW) data shows there were 210 new cases in Carmarthenshire, 102 in Pembrokeshire and 35 in Ceredigion since the last report.
The total number of cases across the three counties now stands at 31,326 – 19,178 in Carmarthenshire, 7,936 in Pembrokeshire and 4,212 in Ceredigion.
The five new Covid-related deaths recorded in the Hywel Dda area since the last report takes the total to 520 throughout the pandemic.
In total, 2,331 new cases of coronavirus and ten new Covid-related deaths have been reported across Wales today bringing the national total to 360,881 cases and 5,907 deaths.
There have been 31,750 tests done across the country since the last report.
