St Davids coastguards stretchered an injured walker off the coast path
A WOMAN was stretched off the coast path yesterday, Friday, October 8, after falling on rocks.
The walker fell on rocks at Rams Nose, Trwynhwrddyn, near Whitesands and had injured her ankle and upper body.
St Davids Coastguard Rescue Team treated the woman at the scene and then put her onto a stretcher.
Coastguard volunteers carried her back to the car park at Whitesands from where she was taken to Withybush Hospital for further treatment.
St Davids coastguards thanked staff at Whitesands Beach House for their help with communications and to all those who helped with the stretcher carry.
