Pembrokeshire County Council has published a warning about 'noise levels and the unexpected nature of fireworks' as Bonfire season approaches.
The county council has said that fireworks can 'leave vulnerable people and pets feeling scared and anxious.'
"Please be considerate to your neighbours," one county councillor spokesperson said.
Pembrokeshire County Council then provided a list of advice to help everyone enjoy the fireworks displays while keeping safe, which includes:
- If you are buying fireworks, then purchase them from a reputable retailer that’s registered with the local authority. Also, ensure they carry the CE mark
- Make sure the noise is over by 11pm
- Go to an organised display rather than hold your own. Often these displays are far more dazzling
- Keep your fireworks until November 5
