Pembrokeshire County Council has confirmed that staff and pupil numbers at Holy Name School, Fishguard, have been affected by coronavirus.
One parent of a child at the school, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that classes have had to be combined due to staff absences and that in one class only a handful of children remained.
A spokesperson for Pembrokeshire County Council said that, as with other schools in the county, staff and pupil numbers at Holy Name had been affected by the virus.
“In common with many other schools, there has been pressure on staff numbers at Holy Name School in Fishguard due to Covid-19,” said the spokesperson.
“Pupil attendance has also been affected.”
