Goodwick United continued their perfect run in the Pembrokeshire League Division One with an impressive 7-2 victory away at Fishguard Sports.

Kieran O'Brien and Nathan Greene put the league leaders in a 2-0 half time lead, before Iestyn Evans, Jordan Griffiths, Daniel James and a Rhys Dalling brace completed the rout.

Hakin United also claimed three points at the weekend, as Jay Power, Ashley Bevan, Justin Harding and Laurie Haworth all scored in a 4-1 win at home against Merlins Bridge.

The only other game saw an entertaining 3-3 draw between Carew and Monkton Swifts, as Carew were put into an early 2-0 lead before a heroic comeback from the Swifts.

They led 3-2 after a strike from Jordan Richards and a brace from Jordan Wilkes, before Oran Guile equalised to salvage a point for the home side.

Meanwhile, several Division One clubs featured in the Senior Cup Round Two over the weekend.

Narberth lost out in a nine-goal thriller as they lost 6-3 at home to Lawrenny, with Ben Adams scoring four of the away side's goals.

It was drama as St Ishmaels came out on top of a penalty shootout away at Hundleton, after 120 minutes couldn't separate the two sides who played out a 2-2 draw.

Clarbeston Road lost to fellow Division One side Pennar Robins, as Nick Willis' brace helped the home side on their way to a 5-2 victory to see them through to Round Three.

Goodwick United now sit eight points clear at the top of the table, ahead of second-placed Hakin United, having played two games more however.

Narberth and St Ishmaels, both involved in cup action at the weekend, remain without a point so far in the league this season.
