The tragedy and horror of the war in Ukraine has inspired four Bradford bands to perform a fundraising concert.
Hot Aire! Concert Band, Fresh Aire! Concert Band, Hall Royd Band and Ilkley Stage Singers will perform for the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Appeal.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 21, at St Peter’s Church, Shipley. A limited number of tickets are available via www.hotaire.org
Sue Jerram, keyboard player for symphonic concert band Hot Aire!, said: “Who could fail to be moved by the tragic scenes of devastation and lives torn apart in this brutal war?
“We just wanted to do something to help and hope you will support the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Appeal by joining us at our special concert.”
