AN ALLEGED confrontation at a Powys railway station is headed to trial.
Tomasz Szpakowski, 48, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of assault when he appeared at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 9.
It is alleged Szpakowski, of Dovedale Rise, Derby, assaulted Miroslaw Baranowski outside Newtown Railway Station on September 3 last year.
Magistrates said a trial will take place at Welshpool on June 10.
