A MAN has been accused of threatening to chop a person’s ears off and show up armed with a gun and a baseball bat.
Paul Gurney, 32, of Maesgrug in Stop and Call, Goodwick, was charged with sending a communication threatening death or serious harm.
It was alleged that Gurney sent a message whilst in Whitland on February 11 which threatened that he would show up armed with a gun and a baseball bat and would chop the complainant’s ears off.

The case came before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on August 28. It was adjourned and sent to Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court, where Gurney will enter his plea on September 3.
The defendant was granted bail until that date.
