A person has died following a two-vehicle crash on a major Pembrokeshire road last night (Monday, September 2).
The collision happened on the A4139 between Tenby and Penally near School Lane at 10.15pm.
A silver Volkswagen and a brown BMW were involved in the collision, which has left a second person in hospital.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police are investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at about 10.15pm on Monday, September 2.
“A silver Volkswagen and a brown BMW were involved in the collision on the A4139 between Tenby and Penally, near the junction to School Lane.
“Sadly, one person died at the scene. The family have been advised and are being supported by specialist officers.
“One person was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening."
The road remained closed as of 11am on Tuesday, September 3.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the collision to contact them on 101, and quote reference number 405 of Monday, September 2.
