Lydstep beach is a gorgeous place to visit in Pembrokeshire.
Backed by wooded cliffs on either end, Lydstep Haven is located in front of a large caravan park.
The beach is accessible by walking through Lydstep Haven Caravan Park or by parking at the National Trust car park on Lydstep Head.
At low tide there is a small sandy area at the north end of the beach along with pebbles.
Activities such as bathing, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing are possible at the beach.
But if you plan on visiting you should check tide times, so you avoid getting cut off by the incoming tide.
As for pets, dogs are restricted on the beach from throughout the summer months.
Apart from parking and toilets, facilities are limited at Lydstep Beach.
However, the beach is walking distance from Lydstep village where there is a golf and leisure club and spa.
Furthermore, Lydstep is just a short drive from other renowned beaches like Manorbier Beach and Tenby North.
