Local coastguards rushed to help a woman with a ‘possible’ broken arm in a seaside town yesterday (September 13).
HM Coastguard Fishguard were called to the Fishguard Parrog where the casualty was located.
However, before the team arrived, the woman had decided to go hospital by herself.
HM Coastguard Fishguard posted on Facebook: "The team tasked to a Female with a possible broken arm on the Parrog Fishguard.
“As the team were assembling, we received a stand down notice as the casualty was going to make their own way to hospital.”
To report any other emergencies near the sea, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
